Phantom Leash by Juan Carlos Mariño, Vancouver Film School
Who?
I was the only one working on the project on the supervision of the instructors at VFS.
What?
It’s about the strong bound between a dog and his owner. She is going to do the impossible to save him from the people who keep him. Even if the one who keeps him is her father.
How?
This film was done in traditional animation frame by frame and line tested on Digicel Flipbook. Backgrounds were done traditional and colored on Photoshop. The color and composition were done digital with TOOMBOOM Harmony.
Next Project?
Right now I’m keeping my eyes peeled for projects that can enrich me as a person and as an artist. Meanwhile I’ve been working on my next film.
Which Film?
I would say AKIRA. Best movie ever.
