Who?
The film was made by 4 students of animation from Israel as a 3rd year project.
The students are: Guy Elnathan, Alon Tako, Daniel Lichter and Sivan Kotek.
What?
A mother has to deal with her video game addicted son, and unleashes her inner beast.
Why?
We are huge video game fans and addicts, and at the beginning of our 3rd year we received the brief for our project: Video games. Needless to say we were very excited and ideas just started flowing. Eventually we focused on our childhood experiences and things just rolled on from there.
This particular film was inspired a lot by Ren and Stimpy, Looney Tunes and of course Video Games from our childhood and onward like Megaman, Mario, The Neverhood, and so many more. Try and spot them all in the film! When it comes to specific animators, we can’t really point at one or two but we have to mention John. K, Tex Avery, Ken Harris, Richard Williams and of course, Disney’s Nine Old Men with a special emphasis on Milt Kahl!
How?
The film was made with Maya, ZBrush, and Coffee.
We started with the simple idea, which evolved to a storyboard and later an animatic.
After that we designed the characters and environments, created a color script, and all of this was done using painting. We later built maquettes for the characters, which then were photographed and moved into the computer for modeling, rigging and animating.

Next Project?
We are all 3rd year students, on a 4 year degree.
Our next project will be our graduation project.
Currently we’re still wrapping up “Glued”, so we don’t have anything to share at the moment.
Which animated film would you like to have made?
It is very hard to pick just one, but things that come to mind are:
The first 10 minutes of “Up!” (You can’t hold back the tears!)
Disney’s The Junglebook
The Hunchback of Notredam
The Incredibles
Nightmare Before Christmas
And so many more that we just have to stop it here.
