Elixir by Zachary Sweet

What?
A Mad Scientist has just perfected one of his breakthrough elixirs. After years of Self-experimentation he is finally ready to enjoy the fruits of his labor.

Why?
This project was a experiment to see if I could translate my line drawing style into a flash animation. Inspired by Gene Wilder in Young Frankenstein and The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.

Inspiration?
Some of my favorite animators are Jan Švankmajer, Bill Plympton, Tex Avery and Peter Chung. I enjoy these animators because their animation makes me say “WOW” every time I see it.

Next Project?
Im currently working on a story I wrote titled “Monstrum” this is the first time working with a large team. Im one of 4 animators. 3-D backgrounds with 2-D characters. Im having the time of my life.
