Anorak
Anorak by Oliver Hamilton, Graduation film at Bristol School of Animation 2013
Who?
Oliver Hamilton (director) Nick Janaway (sound design) Animation clean-up: Alice Dukinfield, Emma Hardy, Leah Panigada-Carey, Sam Shaw, Hannah Welch & Daniel Templeton. Made at the Bristol School of Animation (UWE) 2013
What?
A pig enjoys his rainy coastal walks, until everyone starts to go missing.

Why?
I was inspired by my love of thrillers, and weird mystery from the likes of David Lynch. The comedic aspect came from British influences such as the black humour found in The League of Gentlemen. The main animators that inspire me are people with a great use of comedy and tragedy like David O’ Reilly, Don Hertzfeldt and Felix Massie.
How?
Flash animation with the heavy use of charcoal boils and watercolour elements.

Next Project?
For the past 10 months I have worked on the Cartoon Network Series, The Amazing World of Gumball as a scene builder and assistant character designer. Now I am looking to build upon my experience and push further in animated series work.
Which animated film would you like to have made?
Fritz the Cat
