A Glowing Future by William Davies, Farnham University for the Creative Arts.
What?
A film, set during the space race, about a chimp and a dog who meet on the moon. The chimp, sent by NASA, and the dog, sent by the Soviets, compete to build monuments to the two countries on the moon. However, an argument ensues and both are driven to sabotage each others work.
How?
I made the film using mostly Stop Motion, with some cut-out animation for the introduction and some 2D computer animation. I animated the characters against a green screen, then composited the backgrounds using After Effects.
Next Project
I have plans to make another short stop motion film using plastercene puppets and a short 2D animation.
