Who?
Joost de Jong – Lead Animation
Nick Groeneveld – Art Direction
Jeroen Hoolmans – Pipeline Technical Director
Michael Koning – Technical Director

What?
Harry and his huge, oblivious son run a moving company together. When they help a girl move apartments, their dull, tiny lives are disrupted.

Why?
We got inspired by the animations made by Meindbender. We love the scale and textures that they use. We really loved their Pirate commercial which they made for Cartoon Network. We wanted to capture the same miniature feeling in our own film. We are all also big fans of stop-motion like Paranorman and Postman Pat.

How?
We made the entire film with the computer. We used maya to bring everything together and we rendered it in Maxwell. For the modelling of the characters we used ZBrush. For the lighting of the film we had a studio HDR that worked on most of the shots. We wanted to give the film a studio and indoor feeling.

Next Project?
We only just finished this one so we are not developing anything new just yet. But I’m sure we will start a new project soon which will hopefully build on what we have learned with this one.

Which animated film would you like to have made?
Personally (Joost de Jong), I would like to have made Wallace and Gromit and the Curse of the Were-Rabbit. The sets, characters and vehicles look fantastic in the film.
