AniJam Day 3
As the rain poured outside over Bristol there was nervous anticipation inside the Arnolfini Gallery as we awaited the arrival of each team with their finished films. Even the team that had declared with 18hours to spare they had finished were still hovering over computer screens trying to solve render issues.
11.15 saw the delivery of the first film and they soon came in thick and fast. Tired faces were adorned with slight smiles of relief that they had successfully completed the 48hr challenge. As the clock ticked over past 12 we had 4 out of five films ready to be copied to dvd and handed to the projection team in the Arnolfini.
Then a phone call from the final team said their’s was on its way and soon enough the rain drenched particpants of the final team arrived at the Arnolfini just in the nick of time to have their film copied onto DVD.
So their we have it 5 teams, 16 participants and 48 hours later 5 films complete and ready for their world premier in the Arnolfini at Encounters film festival!
