Mar 3rd, 2016Student Showcase

Who?

Puck Dani, Animation film maker from hungary.

What?

This film is an adaptation of Hugo Ball’s huge dadaist poem, Karawane. The narrator was Miklos Galla, famous hungarian comedian, “the hungarian Monty Python guy”. The film was official selection at the 4th edition of Primanima World Festival or First Animations.

How?

Digital cutout collage animation, really Monty Pythonish…

Next Project?

I made another one animated short titled ‘the Man and the Trees’ with Constantinos Terlikkas, animated film maker from Cyprus. It’s done, and now it is on it’s festival journey, travelling the world. You can check it here: www.facebook.com/The.Man.and.the.Trees

Also there’s a new short I am working on now, it’s titled ‘Nuts’, and it’ll premiere at Atrium Film Theatre of Budapest this April.

Which Film?

Any of Bill Plymptons. Really… That guy’s work is spectacular. (:
