What?
Masso Awwo takes the viewer on a journey through the beauty and chaos of Kampala city taxi park.
How?
The film was made using Adobe Flash, with a mix of 2D digital and rotoscope animation from reference footage i took when in Uganda.
Next Project?
I plan on creating more animated films inspired by African Culture
Which Film?
If I could pick any animated film in history to have made it would be Susan Young’s “Carnival”. The characters’ figurative style and movement embody the type of energy i would like to bring to my work.
