What?
Set in a near future, ‘.flav’ looks at a world where taste has been digitised and is available to download, allowing users new possibilities in exploring flavour, desire and taboo sensations.
How?
The film is digital hand drawn in Photoshop with a few elements animated in After Effects.
The design in the film is minimal and graphic to try and evoke generic online avatars as so much of the film is based around the online world.
Next Project?
I’ve just finished projects for the Barbican and Horniman Museum in London and will be focusing on a slightly longer short film over the coming months.
