Sony Unveils Popeye Test Animation

Sony Pictures Animation has posted a test animation for upcoming CG feature Popeye. The clip is presented alongside an introduction by animation Genndy Tartakovsky who is directing the feature. The aniation continues a long line of classic characters who are shifting from their original traditional animation into contemporary CG animation. But based on the taster we get to see in the clip we feel they have done a fine job of capturing the magic of the expressive movement that makes cartoons like Popeye such a joy to watch.
