Channel 5 Commission Absolutely Cuckoo
The creative London based character design and animation studio, Absolutely Cuckoo today announces its commission from Channel 5’s Milkshake to produce its animated comedy series, Dave’s Dinosaurs. The series comprises 52×7 minute episodes, animated with CGI, and is aimed at 4-6 year-olds.
The series is about a young boy named Dave, whose life is changed forever the day he pushes his last coin into the ‘Pre-historic Picker’ in the penny arcade, and six bizarre looking eggs come tumbling down the chute. Dave decides to take them home and two days later, the strange eggs suddenly hatch and Dave instantaneously becomes a proud dad of six baby dinosaurs. Dave’s new found responsibilities, result in a plethora of comical events as he endeavours to keep his new Jurassic friends safe when they ‘hit’ the town in the only way dinosaurs know how, leaving chaos in their wake.
