And The Winner Is…
A month has passed since the frantic 48hr AniJam challenge was completed by 5 valiant teams and last night during one of our bi-monthly animation nights the overall winner was announced. The overall winner was decided through a combination of the audience vote, which had seen any twists and turns during the last month with each team holding first place at some stage, and also our judges Kieran Argo and Frank Passingham’s opinions.
At the close of the audience votes An Unexpected Jam were in first place with 37% of the votes, however our two judges both opted for Kill Me Now overruling the audience vote, and thus the winners of this Years AniJam competition with there film Kill Me Now are Harry Slinger-Thompson, James Hatley, Oliver Hamilton , who will be receiving passes for next years Encounter Film Festival.
From everyone here at Show Me The Animation we would like to thank all of the teams for participating in what we hope will the first of many AniJam challenges. We were truly amazed at the standard of films produced within the time frame so our congratulations go out to all of you. We would also like to thank Kieran Argo, Frank Passingham and everyone of you who voted online in helping with a tough decision making process in choosing an overall winner. Finally we offer a huge thank-you to Encounters Film Festival for all their help and allowing us to hold the AniJam live at Encounters over the festival weekend.
And now sit back relax and enjoy the winning film…
