Learning to Animate and Program with 02Geek
Want to transition your animation skills online and create stunning visual animations for digital platforms? Have no technical experience of programming or any idea where to begin? Well luckily there is an answer for that.
Ben Fhala of 02Geek is currently putting together a huge a huge Animation Bundle that will teach users how to animate in a rich variety of outputs for: HTML5/JavaScript, Flash Banners, Desktop applications, IOS and Android applications, using the GSAP JavaScript and AS3 library.
The bundle is currently seeking funding on Kickstarter and has already surpassed its goal, but there is still time to grab yourself access to the course at hugely discounted prices.
I was lucky enough to be given access to check our course one of the Bundle Learning JavaScript with Animation and upon first accessing the course I was immediately impressed by the amount on offer in the course, with a full eight chapters on offer each with up to ten sub-sections with video instructions.
The courses videos are presented by Ben Fhala of O2Geek. Ben’s delivery of the courses is friendly and well paced making the easy to follow, and his explanations of all the processes are clear, meaning the course delivers on its initial promise of requiring no background knowledge aside from basics of HTML/CSS. The course duly delivers with the first course providing the foundation knowledge to move through the remaining 6 courses. Also included are all the source files for you to get to grips with as you follow the videos and test out your new found skills yourself.
I will admit, I am yet to get through the full course due to the amount on offer, but wanted to deliver this article while the Kickstarter campaign was still going. As mentioned the campaign offers tremendous value on each of the courses. My first impressions of the programme have been great, and I am now off to back their campaign and get the remaining courses.
