Ladies Knight

Joe Rothenberg created this short as his graduation film back in 2012, since then it has deservedly gone on to win several awards. In the mini-musical dweebish Sir Knightly sets off to rescue the Princess from a dragon. Unfortunately, the Princess thinks the dragon is way “hotter” than Sir Knightly. The animation style and kitschy humor is loosely based on the Jay Ward cartoons of the sixties with songs inspired by the music of the Sherman brothers and Lerner & Loewe. Joe is currently developing the video game Ping, a excellent twist on the classic Pong.
