Somewhere

A man surrounded by architectural wonders reaches the ends of nothingness.

Somewhere is a 3D animated film created by Liu Song at Sheridan College. We asked Liu Song a few questions about the making of his short.

Who?
Its is a single person made film. I made it within 5 months.

What?
It is a story about “nirvana”. Life as a journey of self-cultivation.

“Something I cannot touch because they are too near; somewhere I have never travelled, gladly beyond any experience.”

Why?
On the one hand, it is my final project in Sheridan College. On the other hand, I always want to make a personal short film with my idea and style.

How?
It is a 3D animated film. I use Maya to make the animation, and digital sculpture for the role; AE for final composing. I used the style of surrealism to express.

Next Project?
I am going to accumulate over time from life to make my next personal video.
