Who?

Frank Harper: Director, Writer, Animator, Puppet and Set Fabricator, Voice Actor.
Charlie Nevett: Editor, Foley Sound, VFX and Voice Actor.
Will Barnes: Music Composer and Performer.

What?

The story of a young boy lost in a dense forest, and the peculiar creature he meets therein.

How?

The film is animated in traditional stop frame animation, using two steel ball and socket armatures encased in foam, sculpey, silicone and fabrics. As well as a large scale set made using fake foliage, painted fur and jesmonite trees etc.

Next Project?

At the moment I am working on the upcoming Nick Park feature “Early Man” as a model maker, but in my evenings and spare time I am developing my next project, another fantasy piece which will again be aimed at children and young adults, but with a slightly darker tone.

Which Film?

Not a fully animated film, but I wish that i’d animated the dragon in Dragonslayer! Still the best on-screen dragon of all time 🙂
