Who?
The film has three director’s Elli Vuorinen, Jasmiini Ottelin and Pinja Partanen. The three of us have done basically everything you see in the film (script, set, puppets, etc.)

What?
A lonesome xylophone player finds a viciously growing tumor under his arm. In his attempts to get rid of the tumor he discovers that it has some unconventional qualities.

Why?
The film was a school assignment. In Turku Arts Academy it is a compulsory to make a puppet animation in a group. The story came through months of script writing and banging our heads together. We wanted to make a film that is funny and sad at the same time, and tells a story which has layers to reveal universal qualities to human behavior…

How?
Stop-motion, puppet, and little CGI 2D

Next Project?
I have finished a drawn film called the Tongueling in 2010. You can watch it in my website http://ellivuorinen.com. I’m finishing my graduation film this spring, hopefully. Also a script writing to my first professional film after school is keeping me busy… so stay tuned!
