This short stop motion film won Best Animation at Slamdance 2009 and comes from Brooklyn based animator Haley Morris. The film was inspired by Haley’s grandfather and represents the progression of Alzheimer’s disease, which her grandfather suffered. A stop-motion animation created using textured and tactile materials that beautifully captures the emotions of loss as the objects slowly slip away from the the man at sea.
