The Circle Line

The Circle Line by Adam Wells.

We have featured the work of Adam Wells a number of times on Show Me The Animation, quite simply because its great. This time Adam brings us the “The Circle Line” created just for the internet and sits inside the same universe as his much larger project “RiseHigh” which is currently going around the festivals (We’ve seen it, and it is brilliant). The short mostly uses frame by frame point animation for the characters, as opposed to conventional 3D character rigs, we are more used to seeing, meaning Adam was able to make liberal use of more traditional animation tricks.

In creating the piece adam collaborated with Nic Smith for the excellent sound design and Joseph Alessio for the amazing typography contributions.
