Armed with a sliver of downtime, Giant Ant decided to make something for ourselves. They wanted to push their cel character animation in a character-driven piece — in this case, a story about a dreamer who battles to the death with his lunch. For Giant Ant Cel animation works its way into most of our projects, but they’ve never relied on it as the sole animation method through the entirety of a piece; Tako Faito was a chance to do it!
