Southern Man by Rozalia Ogonowska & Magda Marchocka

Southern Man is an animated music video for Tom Rosenthal’s song under the same title.
The story is based on the lyrics – it is a metaphore of loneliness and alienation. It deals with childhood memories and the way our lives intertwine with the cycle of nature.

With a restricted four colour palette the animation was hand-drawn on a graphics tablet with sketches and studies produced on paper prior to moving on to the digital media.
