Hisko Hulsing’s Junkyard has just finished a 19 month festival tour during which it picked up a number of awards, and deservedly so. The outstanding visual style of the film did not come without hard work. The film was in production for 6 and a half years with 25000 drawings and 120 hand painted backgrounds used in the making of the film. The films story and visual style come together in what can only be described as a triumph. One of the best animated shorts you will see all year.
