The Internet loves cats and we definitely think there is room for one more; Let us introduce you to Franklin the Ladies Cat. Created by Bård Edlund, Franklin originally started life as a successfully funded Kickstarter short fim which is currently going around the festivals, this episode is an edited and slightly altered version of the short and forms the first episode of a Franklin Youtube series.
The series follows Franklin, who is an enterprising cat looking for love in the big city. Despite remarkable tenacity and imagination, his overtures to human women go largely unnoticed — though that’s not how Franklin tells it! As interview shots give way to on-the-street documentary footage, his confident embellishments are revealed to be out of sync with reality.
