Woody Woodpecker set for Feature?

Everyone know’s woody woodpecker and his famous catchphrase “Wha ha hahaha! Wha ha hahaha! Hahahahahahahaha! -Woody Woodpecker” Well he looks set to be hitting our screens once again, and this time in a feature film.

Illumination Entertainment, the animation house behind despicable me, hop, and next years Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax is working on a feature project with our feathered friend.

Woody Woodpecker, created by Walter Lantz made his first appearance in 1940, in the short Knock Knock (see below).
