Dreamworks have released the first trailer for their upcoming animated feature “The Croods”. The film featuring the voice talents of Nicholas Cage and Emma Stone is set in the prehistoric era and follows cave man Grug and his family as they set out on an adventure to find a new cave home.
The film was originally set to be made as a stop-motion film by Aardman Animations with John Cleese and Kirk DeMicco penning the first few drafts of the script. But since Aardman’s departure from its Dreamworks partnership in 2007 the film was reworked as a CG film co-directed by Chris Sanders & Kirk DeMicco. The film is set for the big screen on March 22nd 2013.
