The Contest
We have partnered with Me Books to launch Me Book’s first ever open to submissions contest and unearth the UK’s best budding author/ illustrators. Together we are seeking brand new and original picture books to ignite the imaginations of little storytellers. The best submissions to the contest will have their picture book published in the Me Books Shop available for children all around the world to see, love and enjoy!
Getting published in the Me Books Shop will see the selected entrants join Authors including Lauren Child (Charlie and Lola), David McKee (Elmer), Ed Vere (Banana!), Chris Judge (The Lonely Beast) and David Lucas (Nutmeg) in the Me Books Shop!
“Our passion is finding ways for great work to end up in little hands. We want to use the technology we developed to do just this. Many talented authors and illustrators out there have brilliant work but no effective way to share it with the world. We want to help them do just that.” – James Huggins, MD of Me Books
If you’re a budding author/illustrator then don’t miss this fantastic opportunity. The final deadline for entries is 14th June 2013, for full contest information and details on how to enter please visit the contest page over on Show Me The Animation: http://showmetheanimation.com//competitions/me-books-undiscovered-contest/
