Help 100 Slices of Bacon on Kickstarter

Have you ever wanted to read something that has all the same qualities of a traditional comic, but with all the risks from a game of Dungeons and Dragons? you do? really?! Whoa that’s so weird cos that’s exactly what Luke Hyde is making!!

Meet Bacon the adventure Dog. For Bacon, Questing is his livelihood. Yeah…he wants to do his part for the community by keeping bike stealing trolls at bay… maybe even lift an annoying curse from a videotape, but you know…he’s gotta pay his living costs and social life like any other guy…right?!

Through his adventures he shall have to overcome many trials, win favor with socially awkward ducks, battle hordes of toxic rats, befriend unlikely allies and chase gnomes drinking milkshakes for some reason (?). As the illustrator/dungeon master Luke Hyde shall craft and adjust the story depending on how the players (that’s you) play.

So how does it all work?

For every choice our hero makes there is a twitter poll where you get to vote on what happens next! The dungeon master (Luke Hyde) illustrates the story as the poll results come in. Where the story goes is a mystery to everyone…and there is no guarantee Bacon will make it through alive!

In order to get this comic printed Luke Hyde is running a Kickstarter, and as part of the Make 100 project Luke is hand drawing and inking 100 original illustrations of Bacon battling a beast, which are up for grabs for backing the project as well as some other nifty rewards.
