‘Film School Shorts’ Accepting Entries Through March
The TV show Film School Shorts is accepting submissions for its fifth season through March 1, 2017.
Film School Shorts curates the best short drama, comedy, animation, and more from the next generation of diverse filmmakers. Produced at schools like AFI, NYU, USC, and Columbia, these films have screened at major film festivals like Cannes, Tribeca, and SXSW and have won Student Academy Awards and other accolades. Over its last four seasons, Film School Shorts has featured the early work of directors like Destin Daniel Crettin (Short Term 12), Sarah Gertrude Shapiro (Lifetime’s UnREAL), Ana Lily Amirpour (A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night), and Sarah-Violet Bliss (Search Party).
Student filmmakers (or professional filmmakers with student work) are welcome to submit their short films (preferably 20 minutes or less) for consideration in the fifth season via Film Freeway.
