Azoomee release new animated series to help children stay safe online
Azoomee is delighted to announce the release of Search It Up! – a new series of animated shorts produced by Azoomee and BAFTA award winners ArthurCox, supported by the NSPCC.
Search It Up! has been created to show children how to make informed and conscious choices in today’s complicated digital world.
No child-friendly content currently exists for primary school aged children that explains what internet safety actually means. Search It Up! addresses this by guiding children through a variety of scenarios and topics ranging from cyber-bulling to what’s okay to share online. The series is comic in tone, led by brother and sister Jack and Maya who encounter situations children can easily recognise, and packed with memorable examples
Search It Up! is produced by Azoomee, the company behind the new Azoomee safe App for primary school aged children. The series will be released on the app, due for release in the UK in early-March. The Azoomee App brings together the best-curated age-appropriate shows, games, tutorials and educational content along with an integrated messaging app to communicate with friends and family (with parental approval).

This series is the product of many months of research, development and planning – it’s amazing to be able to finally share the series.”
Search It Up! scripts were produced with the NSPCC, the leading children’s charity in the UK, dedicated to preventing cruelty to children.
Series 1 of Search It Up! comprises 18 two minute episodes. The series has been written by Dave Ingham, an award-winning writer and creator who has worked on well-known children’s shows including Charlie and Lola, Shaun the Sheep and Horrid Henry. He is currently the head writer for the new Clangers and was recently part of the judging panel for ChildLine’s Create and Make competition.
Search It Up! is directed by Sarah Cox at ArthurCox, the BAFTA Award winning animation production company behind Nina Needs to Go (Disney). They are renowned for beautiful illustrative design, strong narratives across multiple platforms and are highly respected for their handling of sensitive content for young audiences and their comedy.
