Animated BAFTA Winners
The British Academy film and television award winners were been announced in London on Sunday evening. I could bore you with the live action nonsense, but i’ll just cut to the chase and get to the good stuff. In the Animated Feature category Pixar walked away with the award for “Brave”, leaving stop motion fans disappointed as it beat of “Frankenweenie” and “Paranorman”. The BAFTA’s have consistently picked the animated feature that goes onto win the Oscar, so will that be the case this year?
As for the Animated Short Category, Will Anderson’s brillant student film “Making of Longbird” added to its brimming collection of awards, fending off the competition in the shape of I’m Fine Thanks by Eamonn O’Neill and Here to Fall directed by Kris Kelly & Evelyn McGrath.
