On its eleventh edition, the International Festival Animayo has positioned itself as one of the big appointments of animation cinema, visual effects and video games in an international level, with recognition and international partnerships with big animation studios, international schools, several cultural and audio-visual spaces, artists, directors, distribution companies and producers.
Animayo promotes education and audio-visual training through a widespread training system given by well-known international speakers and also, through grants for talent with an investment over 25,000 € per year to support the talent of artist from Canary Islands, with the focus on professionalize an booming economical sector. Animayo is closely linked to a professional future project, under the belief that great talents and audio-visual directors will emerge in the Canary Islands. With this activity, included on its ‘Training System Animayo’, has created a creative lab for detection and development of the audio-visual talent that is developed during the whole academic year and focused on teachers and students from primary, secondary, high school, middle and upper grades
