Another Oscar Nominated Animated short for you as today’s Pick of the Day. Like Adam & Dog which we featured over the weekend, Head Over Heels has recently appeared online in the run up to the Oscars on Feb 24th. The short directed by Timothy Reckart and Produced by Fodhla Cronin O’Reilly has already picked up numerous awards including Best Student Film in the recent Annie Awards. I have had the pleasure to see this film at numerous screenings this year, including our own BBC Big Screens National Screening and the pleasure of viewing it grows each time. Intricate stop-motion animation and a beautiful story make this short film a wonderful achievement.
