Vatula – The Whirl Wind by Shyam Sundar Chatterjee
The whole process of this creation has been made by following the concept of catharsis. It’s a story about a person who is in a state of nothingness and helplessness, metaphorically contemplating a real life journey of plaintive and overwhelming memories which are constantly burgeoning in his turbulent mind caused by the loss of his loved one, who was way far from his reach at the time of death.
The creation of the movie was an attempt to detach the plaintive feelings overshadowed in a sole turbulent mind caused by the deceased of loved one from the physical body and mind by objectifying it as a completely distinct expressive entity in an abstract visual form in an unknown space and seeing back to it from a different perception. The whole process of this aesthetic creation helped me to release the suppressed pain.
